Insulin is a hormone that regulates blood sugar by storing excess energy as fat. High insulin levels block fat burning, while controlled insulin allows your body to use stored fat as fuel, optimizing metabolic health.

The four key hormones are leptin, which regulates long-term fullness; CCK, triggering satiety after fats and proteins; ghrelin, signaling hunger when the stomach is empty; and PYY, reducing appetite post-meal. I can show you how to balancesthese for sustainable hunger control.

A moderate-protein, high-fat, no-carb diet works in DFM by optimizing satiety hormones (leptin, CCK) and minimizing hunger hormones (ghrelin). Fat fuels energy, stabilizes insulin, and prevents crashes, while moderate protein preserves lean mass without triggering excess insulin spikes.

Plants contain phytate, lectins, and oxalates, natural defenses that can harm digestion and nutrient absorption.
